I bought an embroidering sewing machine. Why? I saw the cool stuff you can make with patterns from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.urbanthreads.com\">Urban Threads<\/a> (like patches. AND LACE!!!). And the cool stuff Greg Dean&#8217;s (from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reallifecomics.com\">Real Life Comics<\/a>) wife has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/SeamsGeeky\">made<\/a>. In fact, I blame Greg entirely for this.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I&#8217;ve opened an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/topenga\">etsy shop<\/a> with a few of the things I&#8217;ve made from patterns I have bought. I hope to one day be able to make patterns of my own, but OH MY GOD have you seen how much the software is? I downloaded a trial and holy crap is it complicated. Really steep learning curve. And I supposed some artistic talent is required. Hrm. I seem to lack that as well. Perhaps I can outsource the creation of art to my sister.
